My curiousity is up as well...
We plan to spray all of our corn with mineral oil this coming fall. We have a spray nozzle on our dragline before it hits the leg. Buy the oil in a mini bulk and have a pump that sits on top. Shooting for 1000 bushels to a gallon of oil. Should keep dust down, fines stuck to the corn and less of a mess come bean clean out. Most elevators do it around here and our supplier has more customers every year doing it. |
