Columbia Basin, Ephrata, WA | Well... if you look closely you can probably guess it's a field of corn in the background of this picture. The story was about the hay shortage, and they interviewed some of our neighbors. There was also in interesting bit in the paper about the sweet corn here, and how they didn't get the acres they wanted and how the double crop acres are going in late. The interesting part of the sweet corn story will be told if we get any kind of early frost. I'll be in the chopper then...
