Subject: Re: Closing Time

West Union, Illinois

I get along OK at Paris, to me it has vastly improved since Ray started.  Terre Haute seems to have more stuff but I really dislike the store. Robinson bounces back and forth.  If I hit a good day everyone is helpful and glad I'm there.  Other times it is all self service.  Between the farm and my employer I used to spend several hundred dollars every week or two there.  I knew where things were better than most new employees...before they "improved the store".

I get REALLY frustrated with the way the Robinson store puts stuff in the aisles.  If he had been there I was ()&**^% close to grabbing the manager by the arm and telling him to push a shopping cart around his store one day.

I told a lady one time those little boxes with antennas hanging from the ceiling were memory erasers.  They were set to wipe your short term memory so when you walked in you forgot what you came for and you walked around for an hour trying to remember and buying more stuff.

She skeptically said "REALLY?"

I told her to think about it.  How may times do you come here and that happens?

I think she believed me before we were done talking.

Oh, for those wondering just what we're talking about, Rural King Stores.
