| Is it just me or are stores and restaurants closing earlier than before? Last night when I got done with the farm chores, we headed out for supper and some parts I needed. We get to the farm store about 8:30 and it's closed. Wetn to two restaurants and again both were closed/closing at 9. Is this because of the poor economy? Or is my memory failing? I swore last year the farm store stayed open to 9 and most restaurants stayed open to 10. It seems like more and more are going to "banker's hours" then complain that no one buys locally. I usually work until dark but quit early to go get those parts only to find I wasted about $15 worth of gas:( | |
