Subject: 1770 nt options

West Central Indiana
We are planning on a new 24 row 1770nt with individual boxes and I have a few quick questions.

We run Presicion E-Sets on our 04 1770 planter and love them. Will they work with the Deere seed tubes, or will it be better to get the bullseye tubes. Someone mentioned something about the seed dropping down the side vs the center, and that Deere has changed their configuration from what we currently have..

Pros and cons to hydraulic drive vs ground driven. We are probably 75% no-till, but are considering more corn on corn = tillage. Would be nice to variable rate the seeding, but I honestly don't know that we would ever utilize it. Is the $2500 worth it, or does it cause some headaches.

Anybody have any complaints about the seedstar XP?
