Western Iowa | Mark...one thing I learned with airforce is don't trade seed to soil contact and even seed depth for a good downforce margin. I ran my airforce on standard my first year and I don't think it was enough downforce to ensure even seed depth. I know that the monitor says 100% ground contact but that is an average over 4 rows. When going over a wheel tract or hard spot it seemed to plant too shallow. I ran mine on the heavy setting which is still a lot better than factory springs and things look much better this year. Just something I learned. | |
