franksville wi | I know that after talking to some friends that work in factories most companies that are hiring are now on a two tier wage system the ones that have been there have kept their wages and will be able to keep their benefits but the new hires are making about 1/2 to 2/3s the old starting wage. I think the days of starting off at $20 to $25 an hour are long gone. The day is coming faster and faster that people who say they will not work for 10-15 bucks an hour have their unemployment pulled and take those jobs. We have to remember that in China people do the same work even cheaper then that so that is the competition. | |
