Mascoutah, Illinois | Gasoline ticked up to $3.89 yesterday in my area. The gentlemen who picks up and delivers my FEDEX is giving me a great picture of what is going on. In January, he was picking up my route between 4:30 and 5:00pm. He has recently been stopping by as early as 2:30pm with 3:00-3:10pm being the norm. Draw your own conclusions as to how much his volume has dropped off in the past two months and what it is saying about the consumer. | |
