West-Central Missouri | I think at this particular location he wanted to have his corn either purchased from the farmer or in delivered into storage, by late July rather than hope for new crop in August, or try to buy remaining old crop in August and find none left locally. Not sure how many days storage they have.Personally I would have preferred to deliver July 20-Aug. 20 time frame, between planting/spraying wheatbeans, and corn harvest. But I don't have the storage space for wheat , so it had to go before.
