| Although I never specifically asked them about it(because I'm sure they wouldn't tell me anything), an ADM ethanol plant near me didn't have a bid for Aug or Sept delivery on their bid line(the bid line is a number to call to get a recording of bids for delivery times and is updated daily). I don't know if that means anything, but it might mean that some plants will go into "maintenance" for a few weeks if supplies get that scarce before harvest, and I'm sure there will be some wonderful "quick ship" premiums for those that start harvest early. | |
