Not sure of your states laws but Kansas had 30 days prior to the 1st of March to notify change of tenant on crop share agreements. Cash rent is another story but without a written contract I would think that Notice of Intent would mean something. On the other hand, I am not sure I could farm for a landlord that would pull a stunt like that. I am not against competition but to change this late in the game shows you where their heads are.
