Subject: "Fear" and "doing it right" can be mutually exclusive.............

Oskaloosa, Iowa 52577

You are right…………People are interesting.

For example, I cannot see why anyone would risk a confrontation and a few hundred dollars in fines just to avoid a little time and a few dollars to "do it right".

Maybe it's the thrill of possibly not getting caught with a hand in the cookie jar??

We have brought home probably at least our share of equipment/materials from out of state……….and I have yet to see the time when we were overburdened by merely following the rules.

The only time I had a real problem was…….in NE…… when I was ignorant of the rules, and was so arrogant that I refused to believe there might be some I did not know about.   Could have cost me over 500 in          piddly-assed fines…………lots less cost in time and dollars to just have made some telephone calls ahead of time, and found out the rules………which we do now.

Sets a P-poor example for the hired help to have the boss overtly thumb his nose at the rules, and then try and yell at them when they screw up and not follow the rules.

After a person gets a health certificate----------where's the inconvenience??
