Subject: RE: Returning to an old AB line for AutoPilot

I run three JD 8130s with the Trimble Nav II's on an RTK AutoGuidance sytem . I farm cotton either notill on ridges(we call them beds) from the previouse year; or we rebed them with an 886 JD cultivator with busters. And the greatest thing about the Trimble Autopilot is that I plant with the same AB lines every year (with exception to some washing of some peaked beds) right in the middle of the beds. I can plant less seed(with all of the tech fees w/cotton you are looking at $100.00/ACRE), a big savings.

But, back to you TedBear, IF your Saved AB LINES are not good enough, it is not the INSIGHT, or the EZ-Steer, or YOU. And I know you like the accuracy of your RTK Ez-Steer, but there is no way you will ever REPEAT AN AB LINE UNLESS YOU GO WITH COMPLETE SETUP(HYDRAULICS + PROCESSOR)

Just my experience and watching everybody elses.
