Devils Lake, ND | My part-time job in college turned into a full-time job during breaks. I got off work Christmas Eve morning and drove straight home, arriving around 1:00 pm. I stopped by my HS buddy's before home, because I hadn't talked to him much since summer. We were out in the shop, and his brothers rolled in with a bottle of something. You know the rest.
Got home just in time to change clothes and hop in the car with my family to go to evening Mass. I had to excuse myself once to go barf, and almost yacked again when I smelled the Communion wine. I slept until lunch the next day.
New Years was easy compared to that. | |
