I want to know how you measure the vacuum on a diesel engine.

Cause there should not be any and a turbocharged diesel will have a positive pressure
a diesel uses a fuel injection pump to regulate speed and power compared to a carburated engine which has a plate in carb to regulate speed and or power thereby produceing the vaccum in the intake manifold which your chart is meant for.
A automotive engine would normally have pistons designed for gasoline, to modify it for use on natural gas or propane higher compression would be desired to increase the efficency and even further efficency could be obtained with a lean fuel/air mixture and adjusting the timing
