Central NE

Very true.   However my own experience this summer is that in July my corn was pushing longer ears when it should have been done polinating.  Then when the HOT weather hit at the beginning of August , it was if someone flipped a switch in the corn.  In a matter of days the corn went from enlarging the ear to abandoning kernals and the heat just never stopped.

I pull ears several times a week and August was not friendly to the crop "here".

I said earlier that I think we are in a weather market. - just not everybody knows it (or accepts it) yet.  When it is finally widly accepted and will be soon- It is my belief that we will finally see what this crop is truely worth.

Every end user has an opportunity to lock in corn at todays prices.  They can't blame high grain prices for negative margins later if they don't take advantage of this opportunity.- NOW
