Southcentral WI | I'm with JD8330 here, did some kernel counts and according to population, kernels counts, should see about 240-245 bu/ac. Have never seen corn with such consistancy putting 22-24 rows of kernels on, long ears too, and plump kernels to boot! Guess 1-4" of rain a week and high temps make for great corn. Beans are looking good too, but anyone who didn't skimp on their fertility plan around here has crops that look great, those that skimp, well its another story, they're getting what they paid for. | |
