Subject: RE: Purpling Corn

Some purpling is genetic - some varieties are more prone to show purpling than others.

how does the corn look otherwise?  does it look healthy?  is it growing well?

If you want to give yourself some peace of mind, take a tissue sample and see if any nutritional problems show up in it.  If not, consider it a genetic quirk of nature.
