rolling firmware backwards (from v4 to v3) is a VERY BAD IDEA it renders the thing useless. Literally it's a paperweight till it gets thru the RMA routine.
Don't try to prove me wrong, I did it.
Btw equally as bad of an idea to roll back firmware on an insight. (did this too)
as far as the EZ steer 500, it is the same controller and motor, but the interface cable is different for the EZG 500.
