Subject: RE: SI Belt meters breaking

N. IL
These things have been a real challenge this year with the larger soybeans. They claim to handle 2000 seeds/lb. but have seen problems at 2500 per lb. because of shape, size variance, etc. The old drill cups and vac meters have been the best at dropping the big soybeans. Kinzes and the SI belts have had the most trouble. Kinze meters have required some plate switching but have still gotten the job done.
