You need 100,000 plants in the fall. Thats about all you need. For me that means starting @ 145000 in notill, and about 125000 - 130000 conventional tillage. Some have their own opinions on treatment. I've used everything from Cruiser to just ApronMaxx. It all depends on your conditions and the year and how much you wanna pay. Hindsight is 20-20. I'll use it if the farm has a disesase history and if it's April and I should normaly plant in May. FWIF
