I'm not convenced treated seed has a return on investment . . .  I've planted with a 750 into notill conditions since '95 and at that time no one treated seed. About a third of the guys I plant for use treated seed and of those third, none of them treat all the beans they plant.  I've planted into some very cold - wet contitions with some treated and some not treated and at harvest there was no difference in yeild or bean quality . . . To each their own management though ~

On a side note, I've been planting reduced populations the last 2 yrs. Last year one guy only wanted 150,000 seeds/acre - They were bush type plants . . . .
