Subject: Re: Soybean population

south east wi here........been planting with a 750 on 15s' for the past few years no till and conventional at 160k, we dont use treated seed or innoculant and have consistently been seeing beans in the 55-60 bu range. last year was an exception with a good field hitting 50.....cool weather all summer and dry in sept might have added to the lower yield. talked to the agronomist yesterday about innoculating the seed this yr to see if it makes any difference.
