Qulin, MO | In '07 we picked up an old JD 3-point hitch sway block with the header and ran it through our brand new 8010. Ruined the rotor and cages along with a few other things along the way. Luckily we were done with rice and were able to rent a demo 7010 to finish out the soybeans.
Find marbles and arrowheads quite often when putting in levee gates and shoveling levees. Also find railroad spikes in the gravel roads around where we farm. Most of them used to be railroad beds when the area was being logged.
Found a bundle of cables one time with a ripper. Phone company was a little nervous when they asked us if the cable was black or orange. The person on the phone audibly breathed a sigh of relief when we told them black. | |
