Fairbury, NE (Southeast)
People need to understand what you have for conditions. Is the wheat sticking up in the air? Is it matted on the ground? If its flat on the ground you are going to have to have some patience and wait for dryer conditions. People plant into standing wheat stubble sans trash whippers all the time. If you are running cleaners run just enough to move the loose stuff out of the way. Its hard to wait when somebody is going on the other side of the road, but the moisture savings will be worth it 9 years out of 10.
