Western EC Iowa | There was some talk down the page in famous no-till post about no-till gardens. Any success stories or things not to do? Wife wants a garden, I don't want to deal with the tiller, weeds, etc... that are associated. I say just roundup the area, plant it and maybe bed with straw, of which I have an abundance of small squares. Could spot spray in season if necessary too. Then this fall when everything is off burn the straw, plant a rye cover and do it all again next year. Am I on the right track here? Thanks, Ben | |
