I like either 1 or two but not 3. You are familiar with number one and it is does work. Most chemical companies will actually help pay for these boxes if you comimtt to using their insecticieds for two to three years. Number two works well also but you also have an opportunity to add row starter with this setup. That can be a big plus for increasing yields. Number three has some issues that make it less attarctive. Post application of an insecticide can lose some of the insecticide if it is exposed to sunlight for a few days. Insecticides don't go down very deep from surface applications. Waiting until you are spraying glyphosate will miss the insects that work on the seed as it is trying to germinate and sprout. Just my two cents worth.
