Subject: More

Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
The 8430T will be using the Starfire ITC and SF2 to work with the Deere Auto Steering so hopefully our "NEMA branch" will provide the needed information to the Insight.

Due to other work on the tractor and now the weather, I haven't actually got to drive the tractor around outside the shop to test it.

I received an email from someone who followed this thread and in it they implied (I think) that the NEMA information comes out is "spurts" with Starfire firmware V 2.52. I'm at home at the moment and don't know what firmware is in the tractor but "spurts" of GPS information is going to cause us some major problems. Anyone else heard of this?

I suppose a worst case scenario is to add another separate standalone GPS to feed the Insight.
