There is now an alternative which allows unused switch inputs to control the fenceline. The output for the left fence tip is Pin 11 of the Boom connector and the output for the right fenceline is Pin 12. These Pins were not used prior to this firmware release. An updated Insight, Edge or Integra can be setup this way if desired. With this setup the fencelines tips (if used) are displayed as triangles on the ends of the boom sections. Their coverage is not mapped.
There are situations where this "new" way is more desirable and others where the "old" way of creating the fencelines as extra narrow sections is desirable. |
