I think you can share crop on his, but on any added land, if your name is involved in the production policy, it goes back to T-yields.

Also remember that if you are going to trade quarters with him for crop insurance reasons, it also has to be signed up that way with FSA, etc.

If your crop insurance agent isn't well versed in this type of stuff, I would find one that is.
