You guys truly are amazing! Every time I read your posts I realize how little I really know about my farm. I have been doing it successfully for 32yrs now and sometimes think its just luck. There is no sarcasm in those words just a deep appreciation for what you are willing to share here.

Potski, if you are new to potatoes my observation has been the processors come to new areas regularly and encourage investment by producers. Once the grower is committed they slowly take away the financial incentive to grow the spuds. Its free so take it for what its worth but I have seen it happen to many good growers in a 200 ml radius. My guess is they will be back here in 10yrs or so.
