Subject: Re: top of small corn bin moldy

west central il.
I started pulling corn out of a bin that I have cored an pretty soon the center well was plugged. There was a layer on corn on top rotten from 6" to 1' deep it was some wet corn I put in to finish up. There is good corn under it. I am now in the process of vacing off the bad corn. My advice is to have your fan suck out, it really keeps the air clean. I actually made a template out of plywood to put over the 15hp. fan and put a 1hp fan to suck and works good. Do not get in there if you have taken any corn out.
