Someone told me once to soak them overnight in rubbing alcohol then let dry thoroughly. The alcohol draws out the moisture and it drys quickly afterwards because alcohol evaporates a lot faster than water. He said he had done this multiple times and been successful. Never tried it myself, but haven't dropped my phone in water yet either. May be worth a try.
