Subject: RE: will winterwheat survieve?

Mid Michigan
I'm pretty sure it will survive. We plant wheat in Michigan and it always seems like it gets killed ten times but it always manages to make a crop. Ours has been beaten, frozen, flooded and tortured but it seems to make it. It seems to be a lot like your yard around your house and grass. Gets looking pretty bad by spring but it always comes alive and looks great in June. About the only thing that kills it is to be flooded for a very long period of time in the spring after it starts growing. Show us a picture next year when you have the combines out and let us know how it did. Good luck.
