East Central Kansas | I guess I have mixed thoughts on bio-tech wheat, that term covers a very broad swath. If it means better end user traits, then I'm for it; if it means better disease and/or insect resistance then I'm still for it, only not as strongly; if it means glyphosate resistant wheat then I'm STRONGLY AGAINST it. For many of us in Kansas, wheat has become a rotation crop, not our primary crop. As such, wheat is a weed 3 of 4 years in our rotation. Glyphosate resistant wheat would cause us problems and in my opinion is not needed in our area. Rotation is a much better solution for us.
