soil life. Then what is your guide for S application?

Each and every season has been different C.C. and a learning curve depending on soil type and clay content, Environment, weather

But a standard rule of thumb that I have found most efficient, developed, evolved, the past 35 plus seasons for our method of Production and being able to grow the consistent yields we do !

for every 3 lbs of N. , I apply 1 lb. of S and 1 lb of K ( ALWAYS ) never one without the other ! Plus Calcium, P-K-and Micro's as needed

Now how do we get by with No Insecticide ? the N holds for the season ? No row is needed ? No side dress is needed ? No fungicide nor inoculation is effective ???

( I can not say C.C. for sure )! But I do feel the S and Calcium levels play a role !

But we re evaluate each season, Look hard at all of the options as Ed well knows !

I have Ed in to speak to our growers and we work very close with our local CPS.
I encourage everyone to read this forum and document what they see during the growing season and on the yield monitor, Bu sold, across the scales, so we work toward Maximizing each and every season.
