Well redgreen, Why would you take a yield Hit ??? On dry years our side by side plots show our dry Pre Plant broadcast does 10 to 30 bu better !

Or like Ed and many others do ! You can drive thru the field and broadcast urea on the surface !!! anytime after planting to knee High ? Depending on your equipment available ! I would count on those areas maybe as good or better because of the efficiency of Root feeding overall
