Brazilton KS | Here where we frequently cycle from warm to cold, I've had pretty good luck starting to run the disk as soon as their is enough frost to keep things from mudding up, running continuously until it is frozen too hard to penetrate. Tried working on the other side, as it started to thaw, but that just absolutely did not work with a Challenger. This is hard on disk blades, but we needed to incorporate litter and the value of the N which incorporation would preserve far outweighed any disk blades which had to be replaced.
