brbear - 11/21/2009 09:39 If you have planted wheat nearby you plan to take to harvest you better go ahead and kill this volunteer wheat now. The volunteer wheat is an excellent host for Hessian fly and it will eat your lunch next spring. And as far as I know there is nothing you can spray later to control it. Believe me on this, I have been there and suffered the consequences.

 

Now that is this late, I think you should leave it.  If there is something in there it will go somewhere else when you kill it.
