| wow-I actually was appreciative of the PRO-agriculture advertising to the city folk. When it floods, use the Red River Valley as an example, all the comments to the newspaper were about how the farmers and all their tile and drainage were the problem. If you are familiar with the RRV, there is very little drain tile, but a bunch of land-leveling. There is also no real dredge ditch system to move the water to the river anyhow.The city folk need some education as far as what all we do economically for them. If Monsanto wants to advertise for us the farmer, I'll let them. | |
