It made a Crop | Byron, Dad said this harvest reminds him of '74. He probably got a 25 year head start on you. I think he was referring to the high moisture and low quality/low test weight Corn.
He had a better quality corn than most. He put up a new 10,000 bu bin that summer. (I helped put bolts in it At age 12 I thought that was a Big Time Job.) Anywho. He held the Corn until July of '75 and sold it for $5.25 to a local Elevator. He'd not told me that story before. | |
