| We are completely done with beans. We have around 1300 acres of corn left to go. We haven't combined any corn over 107 day, and so far we have not seen anything above 22% moisture. I suspect it is going to get worse as we creep into the 111-114 day varieties. We are simply working our way there. We didn't get flooded with this last rain, but we will have to sit until at least Friday. It looks like Thanksgiving dinner will be at the end of the field (out of the trunk of the car). I hope to never see another year like 2009. | |
