My pasture has a very high % of Alice white clover. I just try to follow the reccomendations listed above. Never had any trouble yet(knock on wood).
If I am worried about them being to hungry before I move them I'll give them some dry hay before moving. But most of the time I just move them. I once read (I think on here that you could put dish soap in the water tank and that would help) never tried it.

I move them every four days so they have alot of oppurtunities to gorge themselves at the candy store. Maybe they are just used to it.
