I did leave the gate open to the old, more grassy pasture so they can go back there - they have to pass through it to get to water. I just questioned, like kids in a candy store, if they are smart enough to know when they have had enough. Maybe a tummy ache will slow them down on the clover before bloat?

Interesting about the dew. The first time in was mid-afternoon and they had been in the woods ruminating. Did not have a lot of dew and I don't think they were extremely hungry although you wouldn't know it by the way they pranced into that field and attacked the clover. What difference does the dew make?
