| How about adding a preservative applicator to your baler? It's not a miracle cure but it might save some hay that's just a few points too wet to keep or when the weather isn't suitable for curing. I lost most of first cut orchardgrass this year to mold. The hay was dry enough that it should have kept but the weather after I put it in the barn was crappy and the hay didn't cure. Preservative would have saved this hay. | |
