Sumner GA, Located in southwest GA, | Ain't got took or snookered, but starting to figure out why there aren't many in the southeast growing hay. Cut some down with 20% chance of rain. Had it dry (so I thought, puffing dust out the bale chamber), and the whole batch went bad on me. Had some of it sold already, guess tomorrow I get to mail out a couple refund checks. Not giving up on the alfalfa, but I got a feeling I am going to start feeding my own cows and quit selling. Also think a Harvestore might be somewhere in the future. Oh well, stuck my neck out and gave the axeman a clear target. |
