All of my ground is flood irragated, the water starts out in the Sierra (lake tahoe) and runs down rivers to our resivour then distrubed out to the farms in the valley. Normally I water about every two weeks and put on two irragations for each crop. How long it lays in the fields depends on a few factors but normally about 4 or 5 days.
