Subject: Re: Red vs White Potash

NE Mo
My preference is red. The white potash sold here takes up to 2 months of winter weather to breakdown. The red will be gone with a heavy dew. I have seen white spread in the later part of April, and I could still find white granules the first week of Oct. Still have the samples I picked up, in the shop. But the fertilizer people will tell us the white is the better product.
