just a tish NE of central ND | IDK..... 30 to 38 years back we had 3 C sections with one baby at a time...... I don't ever remember my wife lying in bed for a week.... More like up and around the as soon as possible. I believe she was discharged by the 4th day at the longest. I remember them telling us that laying around in bed can cause blood clots for the new mother so moving around was encouraged.(right or wrong? IDK?) I believe there was a weight lifting restriction of ???10 lbs. if I remember? Well........ we had a 10-pound kid so I know that rule didn't get honored. I do know my mother-in-law came and spent a week with us.
Me and my time off? I had to milk cows twice a day still so not much time off....
Ha! just a little extra information...... My wife couldn't sleep and made it to the barn (morning milking) before the planned C section and offered to help with milking, but I sent her back to then house! |
