southern mn | Prob 15-20 years ago I was preparing my balance sheet for my ag lender and he was always a stickler about working capital. and mine needed some improvement . my medium term loan was near zero and with all the equipment paid for I just replaced some of the operating loan with a medium term on some equipment. It improved my working capital by that amount. JUST a SILLY numbers game to make the banker happy. I still had to borrow the same amount of $$ from the bank but it made my working capital ratio look much better. | |
